Lerwick on the Shetland Islands is Britain's most northerly town. Situated on a natural harbour, the town is always buzzing with cruise ships, fishing vessels and yachts from around the world. While we were there, we met people from Iceland, Finland, Germany and Norway. Look carefully at the picture above and you can see that there are actually two pictures. The High Street in Lerwick has no shops, it is a small lane that runs between two rows of houses. The main shops are in stone-flagged Commercial St, which is what we show here. It just goes to show that you don't have to be physically located on the High Street to have a High.St address!
